The
company was created in 1999 from Aislantes Valladolid, S.A.
and Aislantes Santamaría, S.L., which have 30 years
of experience in Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) processing in
the area of insulation with Plates and Overhangs for construction
and in the manufacture of mouldings.
With a surface area of 2,700m², Envases de Euskadi, S.L.
was created through a market opportunity in the North of Spain,
with the objective of minimizing transport costs to offer
competitive prices to our customers consolidated in the area
and to attend to the needs of a strong market on the increase.
We manufacture a wide range of articles
related to the packaging of different industrial products
in very varied sectors, such as the food, fish, laboratories,
electrical appliances, automotive, doors and furniture.
For the manufacture of these containers and packaging we use
computer-aided cutting machines and state-of-the-art moulding
machines equipped with stackers and, most importantly, automatic
mould change, which enables us to change the moulds in 10
to 15 minutes. Some machines are equipped with a robot to
incorporate polystyrene film to the EPS pieces.
Throughout February 2001 the Aenor auditing was carried out
for the award of the UNE-EN-ISO 9002 (94) certificate, the
appropriate procedures had been introduced since the start
of the company’s activity. At the end of 2003 the change
to the new ISO standard was made. |
